21 new build units for Karbon Homes in Chester-le-Street

Background

NB Clark was engaged by client Karbon Homes to deliver a new build scheme at its Bullion Lane site in Chester-le-Street. The development consists of 21 social housing units made up of nine two and three-bed houses and 12 one-bed apartments funded by Karbon Homes as part of its Homes England partnership.

The £2.8 million project completely redeveloped the existing Bullion Maintenance site into affordable homes for the region.

Project scope

NB Clark delivered the full scope of works for this social housing project. This included demolishing the existing structure, adding new drainage to the site, and fully constructing all dwellings and footpaths, roads and landscaping.
